SELF-PACED COURSE

Need help with schooling?

KCC’s Culture Quest self-paced online course allows your campers to explore every country at their own pace!

IS YOUR CHILD PREPARED TO THRIVE IN TOMORROW’S GLOBAL SOCIETY?

THEY WON’T GET THERE THROUGH OSMOSIS.

For your children to thrive in tomorrow’s global society, they need to develop an affection for scholarship. Self-paced online courses are an excellent way to foster this love for learning, as they allow students to learn at their own pace and on their own time. When children genuinely love the process of learning, becoming independent global thinkers is a natural progression of their growth. Today’s traditional educational system is riddled with poorly written textbooks and a lack of appreciation for celebrating and educating our children about diversity.

By enrolling your children in self-paced courses, they can work through the material at a speed that suits them best. Online self-paced courses can expose children to a wide range of diverse perspectives and cultures, helping to break down barriers and promote understanding. It’s important to seek alternative avenues for education, such as self-paced courses. So many problems that we see in the world now, and in times past, stem from a lack of awareness and excluding the rich history of people from around the world.

IF YOU’RE LIKE MOST PARENTS TODAY, YOU WANT YOUR CHILD TO . . .

EXCEL ACADEMICALLY

Let’s face it, you know that academic excellence is important, but who wants to raise an extremely intelligent child that does not know how to apply his or her knowledge to everyday situations and circumstances? Excelling academically is not enough.

BE SOCIALLY CONSCIOUS

You’ve tried to surround your children with friends from diverse backgrounds, but you know that is not enough. You have to be intentional about raising socially conscious children that truly love, respect, and appreciate people who look like them and people who don’t.

POSITIVELY IMPACT THE WORLD

Every parent wants to believe that their child will make a positive impact on the world, and the truth is that children who have a broader understanding of the world and the people in it are more likely to succeed in life.

THE PATH FOR YOUR CHILD’S SUCCESS MUST BE CULTIVATED.

With intentionality and a radical shift in what we teach our children.

CULTURE IS THE KEY.

WE BELIEVE THAT A CULTURAL EDUCATION IS THE FOUNDATION FOR MAKING A POSITIVE IMPACT ON THIS WORLD.

We live in an ever-changing and ever-growing global society where a number of jobs and business opportunities require foreign travel or, at the very minimum, interaction with people from different countries. Internationally-minded children have a huge advantage over those who are uncomfortable working with people from different cultural and ethnic backgrounds. Intentionally making culture an integral part of your children’s education equips them to appreciate the diverse world that we live in as they make a positive impact on the world.

Our Mission Is To

Inspire children to love learning, embrace the culture, and live mindfully so that they can thrive in tomorrow’s global society.

That’s why we decided to create an easy way for parents to teach their children things they won’t find in most traditional curricula – the things that have the power to truly prepare them to live up to their full potential. Opting for our self-paced online courses is the perfect way to begin.

TESTIMONIALS

Due to COVID I didn’t feel comfortable sending my granddaughter to camp this year. So when I heard of Kids & Culture Camp I decided to give it a try. The experience was full of educational excitement not just for her, but for me as well! We learned about different countries, cultures and much more. Most of all seeing the excitement on her face when she would share her stories about what she learned and the places that she visited. Thanks to the whole team!!!

The curriculum is so well laid out and the program is organized, detailed, and constructed appropriately for each age group. My kids can discuss where the country is located on the world map and the actual names of the historical figures from that country. Whether it be at the summer camps, the spring break sessions, or recently, the virtual programs, KCC provides parents with the piece of mind that your kids are in the hands of a family member who cares for the well-being of your child.

MEET JANIA

I’m an attorney and the Founder & Executive Director of Kids & Culture. I’m passionate about cultural education because I truly believe that inspiring children to use their education to celebrate diversity and build character helps alleviate societal prejudices and misconceptions. When our children understand and appreciate each other, they make this world better. As a homeschooling mother of two boys, I was frustrated with the lack of culture-centered programs. This void brought to light the need to develop culturally diverse and engaging enrichment programs for young children. In 2010, after assembling a team of like-minded homeschool moms who shared this vision, Kids & Culture Camp’s journey led us to organize and create summer, spring, and live-online cultural enrichment programs for children aged 3-12.

Now in its 13th year, Kids & Culture Camp continues its dedication to prepare every child to love learning, embrace culture, and live mindfully. Due to the success of our programs after serving more than two thousand families and children, and witnessing the broadened cultural growth and transformation in my own children, I knew it was time to duplicate our successful model. It was time to make a virtual version of our in-person experience available to conscientious parents worldwide. It was time for Culture Quest™ – KCC’s unique, self-paced, online cultural immersion course for children to become a reality. You won’t find anything else like it.
