This month we celebrate the accomplishments of Ifasadun Tella-Swan, age 15. Each month we feature a current camper or student who has graduated from Kids & Culture. At age three, Ifa was among the first group of campers who helped make KCC’s inaugural year in 2010 so special. She will enter the tenth grade in the fall. Ifa recently completed an internship program and re-ignited her passion for chess by teaching campers at Kids & Culture Camp. Chess has been an integral part of KCC since the beginning. Fast-forward eleven years. Instead of learning how to play chess, Ifa was the instructor and she did an outstanding job teaching the campers! It was such a delight to see her sharing one of her many talents and skills with our young campers. So what are Ifa’s future plans? She is in her fourth year of performing with the Taratibu Youth Association and she has her sights set on being an attorney. We are super proud of you, Ifa Tella-Swan!
