Each summer, KCC brings together campers from different ethnic backgrounds, underprivileged children whose families would otherwise not be able to afford camp, and campers from communities whose families have not traditionally sent their children to a “cultural” camp to learn about indigenous people. To offset the cost of camp, a select group of campers receive needs-based scholarships which are funded by KCC, private sponsors, and community organizations. We are thankful for our 2019 sponsors who believe in KCC’s mission and give of their time and financial resources to make a difference in the lives of our children. We invite you to check out their programs, services, and offerings: Richardson & Moore, LLC, A.S. Robinson Law, Movewell Fitness, Organic Soul Chef, and Capoeria Barro Vermelho.
